I was wondering whether I wrote it wrong to begin with. Isn't a
pleated skirt just a length of fabric that is hemmed at the bottom,
pressed into desired length pleats, then sew partially down the
pleats, and finally sew a waist band to the skirt. Well add a zipper
and button as well, but is that all really? Yes time consuming, but
not really needed a pattern per say? Am I over simplifying it?
Probably am. I think I'll just stick with searching the land of Texas
for now. I can manage the straight sewing of the robe, but the skirt
takes more patience and exact measurements.
