Yahoo!Groups has the annoying bug (they probably call it a special
feature) that when URLs wrap, the link-conversion only works for what
remains on the first line, so the link is wrong. If the link-length
is borderline, Yahoo!Groups will sometimes try to wrap, and ends up
inserting a slash at the end of the link, making the link faulty.
Since the Photos-section of Yahoo!Groups produces a link that is
about 200 characters long, the link always wraps to several lines.
Generally you get much more reasonable lengths of the links if you
post files to the files-section (and don't use spaces in the folder-
and file-names - spaces are converted into the string "%20"); the
reason many groups require that image-files are posted to the photos-
group (but I have not seen that dictate here, and the Files-section
is only 6-7% full, anyway), is that the Photos- and Files-sections
have separate file-quotas - 20MB for Files, and 30 MB for Photos.
Myself, I'd have preferred one bulk quota of 50 that went for both.
