It was indeed Richard Harris who sang it (and Googling will often give
you only his name associated with it), but he was not the one to
actually pen those immortal *snerks* lyrics.  The song was originally,
it seems, supposed to have been sung by the Association, but they passed
on it, and Webb gave the song to his drinking buddy Harris instead.
