Gosh, there are so many! I've recently finished Irina's _The Rebirth_ and
_Galatea_, which are the currently completed parts of the _Morrigna_
trilogy. You can find that at Schnoogle --
http://www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Irina/

I've also recently enjoyed Clio's _Eight Ways From Sunday_, again at
Schnoogle -- http://www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Irina

At the risk of sounding like Gilderoy Lockhart, you can find my
books--er--fics on FictionAlley, and there are links from the front page of
my LiveJournal, http://johnwalton.livejournal.com.

Hope this helps!

How odd indeed. Have you ever submitted a support request to the FA Mods?

When Fyre says "their level of writing is mainly 13 yr old kids", that's a
real understatement. As the HPFGU Humongous Bigfile says,

"Fanfiction.net (www.fanfiction.net) is one of the largest fanfiction
archives available. It houses all genres of fan fiction, and has a very
large HP section, including many quality stories. However, be warned: it is
a large archive and there is no provision in place there to screen out the
many stories of dubious quality."

'Nuff said.

No need to apologise for being a slasher, hon. ;)

Huh. Fyre, were you in fandom then? Because most people who joined the
fandom after the event don't know the full story, and your words lead me to
conclude that's the case with you. I'm quite disappointed, because whenever
I've read your posts -- and when we IMed -- you've sounded like a sensible
person, and not someone who would just chuck out that negative -- and
factually incorrect -- comment.

As someone who was involved at the time, I can say that the author concerned
had no problems with Cassie continuing to use the references to her book in
the Draco Trilogy. Cassie's disclaimers at the time, which were the crux of
the issue, were more comprehensive than those of the people who accused her
of plagiarism. From my perspective, the whole issue was nothing more than a
personal attack on one of the more popular authors, by people on FFN's staff
who were upset at the popularity of her fic.

Ach. This whole thing was what, almost two years ago? I think we need to
move on.
