I was procrastinating, so I did a search on a few quote sites (my favorite
is quoteworld.org).  There are a couple of quotes that sound similar:

"It takes a person who is wide awake to make his dream come true."

I'm a quote collector myself, so I know that "can't quite remember" feeling.
