Sorry. It's just something I noticed on-list occasionally, and no, no one
has said anything to me off-list. "Pouncing" was perhaps the wrong word to
use, denoting an attack, but if someone is refering to a post and only wants
to address a particular line or paragraph, well, there's nothing wrong with
that. But some people, on occasion, take umbrage that a line is left out.
Generally, I use a quote (as above) and just assume (which I perhaps
shouldn't) that most people will remember enough of the post referred to to
know what I'm raving on about. LOL!

Yes, this is the best idea. I'm quite daunted by the whole "messages"
section, trying to find the relevant post in there is like, well, its the
*worst*.
