Many years since I've been  - but plan to go again next year if only 
for the day.  (It's about 200 miles from where I live and two hours 
only on the train).  

Edinburgh Castle - fabulous history and a magnificent view.  

Princes Street

Greyfriars Cemetary - the statue of Greyfriars Bobby - should be info 
about this sweet little legend on the web.
