Where were you? (Was:Can everyone in Dallas check in re: space shuttle)

  I was four years old and living in Abilene, TX. when JFK was shot.  
My memory of it is very vague except that I remember being unhappy 
that Captain Kangaroo was pre-empted for several days and it had 
something to do with that man we saw on TV a lot and that a lot of 
people seemed very sad.
