Don't Stan Shunpike and Ernie Prang talk about it in POA?  I think 
Fudge talks in the Three Broomsticks about arriving and seeing 
bodies.  Of course they all think it is Sirius' doing.  I can't 
remember if it comes up in the Shrieking Shack.
