Amy Z poured some nitpicking oil on troubled waters by saying:

Along the line of what is actually in canon, isn't interacial dating
canonical?  Fred, who presumably is white, goes to the Yule Ball with
Angelina.  Isn't Angelina Black?  (Or am I confusing her with another
Gryffindor Quidditch player?)
