Let's not get too carried away. We don't have a real-time account of
Harry apparating to the top of the school, only Harry's recollection.
By that, I don't mean to call into dispute the accuracy of Harry's
memory, but simply to say that relative to flying, any incidental
noise would have seemed insignificant. I don't think we can say
whether or not there was a noise when he apparated that time at school.

Just a thought.
