Well you iknow since everyone seems to be putting in an advert for their favourite university I'd like to suggest Royal Holloway. Part of the University of London with both classes in London and a beautiful rural campus complete with stately home. Attracts a lot of US students - especially to the history department. Very close to historic and beautifl Windsor - in fact I live there and commute.
