3 year degrees at the traditional universities in England and Wales
are also degrees with honours. I thought that the difference was
that Scottish kids leave school one year earlier than their English
and Welsh conterparts, so that the first year of Scottish University
is equivalent to the last year of English and Welsh school?

(who can recommend Manchester University. The setting for some of
the best - and worst moments of my life. I can recommend it for its
access to great City Life - although erm, Manchester itself is
perhaps not the prettiest of towns, it is one of the liveliest).
