I'd expect the Transfiguration OWL and NEWT to include Transfiguring
other things, not just Transfiguring oneself.

Apparently it often happens that parents choose a name that they
expect won't be too common, and then it's the most common name in
their child's first grade. This suggests that the popular names get
into parents's minds in some unconscious way, not from imitating
celebrities or popular song lyrics or such.
