Amazon's OotP Saturday policy

>From what I recall, Saturday is the *arrival* date at your door but *only*
if there is a person to sign for the package. Amazon was guaranteeing
*delivery* on Saturday via UPS for those who live in the United States on
Saturday, June 21. If you are not available at your shipping address, they
*will not leave it* because it's a special arrangement Amazon made with UPS
to ship their nearly 1 million orders. This applies to any version (regular
or deluxe) ordered through them.
As for UK orders by US residents, I'm not expecting my copy for at least a
week since any special shipping is invalidated by the international part of
that equation. And Amazon.co.uk is charging (and imagine that the "L" is a
pound symbol) L8.49 for the book and IIRC, only about L1.50 for shipping.
All in all, it was about the same price as the US version from what I could
figure.
Now I just have to figure out if I want the deluxe version as well. I have
about $60 in Waldenbooks gift certificates that I could use. Hmm.
I hope that helps those who are confused. If you ordered via Amazon, you
have to be home on Saturday to receive it on Saturday.
