Hi, Emeline, and welcome! No words of wisdom here. We all kind of
hope that the mad surge of posts will slow down (it has already
slowed a bit over the weekend, down from 800 to 300 a day) soon.
I think a good way to get to know people is to find posters who you
like, and reply, either onlist or offlist. Nearly everybody thinks
their posts get fewer replies than they would really like, so they
tend to welcome replies.
