product warnings (prescription drugs)

I'm particularly amused by the additional information leaflet on 
some prescription drugs I've just been prescribed.

'You are advised to avoid the following two hours before and after 
taking this medicine. Tea, coffee, milk, eggs, whole grains, meat 
and products containing Vitamin C.'

The instructions on the *outside* of the packet are: 'take after 
food'.

How?
