In actual fact, at the moment, it's looking like the problems are all unrelated - just 
random bad luck they've happened in a cluster.

Well, they still haven't ruled out the possibility it was deliberate - but last I heard, 
the two guys claimed they didn't have time to move the ute. They've apparently 
said it stalled on the line and they were trying to move it until they heard the train 
coming - and they only just got out themselves.
