The best place to find out about MD (MAGIC DISHWASHER)(as well as 
many other great theories and essays) is at Fantastic Posts:

The only other way is to wade through the Yahoo Archives...which is a 
long and sometimes fruitless effort.

As for how to join...you'd have to ask one of the members of a 
particular group...I'm mostly just a lurker.
