One of my best friends had this experience last year. She and her family are
Pagan and had reservations about being in the school Nativity play but were
eventually persuaded to take part, along with the child of the vehemently
atheist family and the Hindu child. The three families made the effort and
got involved... and were the only ones to actully turn up to the
performance...
