Granny - I had similar problems (see the "Poll Vaulting" posts 
earlier today) and 'zanelupin' (Kathy K) offered this suggestion:  

"I think it has to do with the new polls already showing up as closed.
I had the same problem as you when I clicked on the link. So I
went to the Polls section and found it's no longer open, thus it's
displaying the results only."

Hopefully the authors of the poll (or Admin, or whomever) will 
realize the problem and fix it...either that or it was a poll with a 
*very* short lifespan.
