Of course, there's also the simplest solution of all.  Buy or rent one of
those paint sprayers that sicks the paint straight from the can.   *grin*
(That's what I'm thinking of doing when we finally get a chance to paint our
entire apartment.  We've lived here so long that the landlord has given us
carte-blanche to paint the apartment however we want.  I've been here 3
years, my wife has been here 6.... most people in this apartment & trailer
complex are here for about 1-3 months at most, and often skip out owing rent
when they leave.  My landlord is working hard now to make this more of a
family place and trying to get in more long term tenants...  He's realizing
that having steady tenants is much better for him in the long run...)
