Now illyana:
Brown Recluses are pretty scary, because they are so deadly - good
thing we don't have those here in AZ. But venom/poison really has
nothing to do with my fear of spiders - I just think they're creepy. I
hate it when people remind me that most spiders are harmless or aren't
going to bite me, because that has nothing to do with my fear of them!
They just have too many legs and want to crawl all over me!!

Now illyana again:
Yah, I know that they're not really spiders. Well, at least the ones
most people consider to be daddy long-legs aren't really spiders. There
is a type of daddy long-legs spider, but I can't really remember
anything about it. (I have a friend who is obsessed with spiders, and
she gave me this info.) Anyway, the single segment body thing really
scares me, for some reason. Just the fact that they have this tiny dot
for a body and head and then these long-legs that sometimes get out of
control! At this camp I went to (I mentioned it before), this colony of
daddy long-legs lived there, and some of them were really mutated (with
too many legs and large bodies). That experience was what actually
sparked my fear of spiders - before then, I had never had a problem
with them, and I can actually remember playing with spiders when I was
really little.
illyana, who forgot to include in her last post that she is also afraid
of her teeth rotting and falling off, and she frequently has dreams
about these kinds of things
