Not in my house. Books are the ultimate present between my husband and
myself, and I expect will become so for our children as well. Yes, we do
get each other electronics sometimes - he got me a sidekick phone/pda
after our youngest was born last spring and I bought him a dvd player
once, but if he gave me perfume instead of a book for an occasion, I'd
be hurt.
