Actually, one of the best Mother's Day presents I ever received from 
my husband was a power screwdriver (which I use a lot) and a gift 
certificate (actually like a little credit card) for Home Depot.  
I'm the one in the family with the power tools--for him I usually 
get books and DVDs (although he gets me those, too <g>).  I also get 
him cooking stuff--he loves his wok and bamboo steamer.  We're not 
exactly a conventional couple. ;)
