The Sergeant Majorette says
They are very well known in the US as one of the two preeminent black
dance companies, the other being the Dance Theater of Harlem. Their
work is mostly jazz and modern style, but most of the dancers are
classically trained. The school is also well known (Madonna studied
there before she became the Material Girl).
They put on a super show. I don't know if they still end with the
gospel number "Revelations" -- but they must, especially in Europe,
it always gets people up and shouting.
You'll have a good time!
