Ooh, that was a favorite of mine, too, though honestly I can't 
remember all that much about it anymore.  I do remember the big 
debate with my friends was whether the blond or the dark-haired boy 
was cuter.  Aahh, the foolish days of youth... :)  Never tried 
watching the new remake and from the comments maybe I won't bother.  
I wonder if you can still rent the old series?

And I definitely third the Patrick Stewart thing.  I'd love to see 
him and Alan Rickman together.  Now there are two people who could 
read a phone book to me!
