I think Norbert is a great name- for a pet!! 
Personally, I picked out Harry a long time ago, way before HP came along, as a name for 
my future son, but it get sticky when your last initial becomes a "P" and your due date is in 
the neighborhood of  7/31.  
If I had a really nasty Siamese cat, I would consider calling it Voldie or maybe Marvolo... 
the personality would have to fit.  I've known a few cats that could qualify.  And of course I 
DO like Poppy, even as a nickname...
