Well, let's see. It looks like I'm in good company when I say that
I've re-read the Anne books many times - but I tend to reread specific
volumes. I reread the 1st a lot... and I also reread the 5th and 8th
quite a bit. _The Blue Castle_ and the _Emily_ books are favorites
by Montgomery, too. I'm also a big fan of L'Engle... and I'm kind of
surprised that nobody's mentioned _Many Waters_ with the other
"O'Keefe" books. I think I've read that one more than the other three
combined! Big fan of Austen, of course; must have read _Pride and
Prejudice_ and _Persuasion_ at least 20 times apiece. _Jane Eyre_ is
a perennial reread, too. Every once in a while I go through a Louisa
May Alcott phase, where I reread everything she's written (even the
extra preachy stuff), and I'm about due for a repeat of _The Three
Musketeers_ and their sequels.

I tend to be a bit of a speed reader, so I find that if I like a book
the first time through, a second read almost always improves it. I
always find something I missed the first time around. And every time
I pick up a book I haven't read in a few years, it always gives me a
sense of nostalgia that I love - especially the few books I remember
my mother reading with me. I'm pretty sure my girls are going to be
re-readers, too - they've already heard me read _Go, Dog, Go!_ at
least 50 times. ;)
