Most reread books...?

OK, favorite books; I just HAVE to chime in here! Not that my tastes
seems to correspond to what's already been stated here, but, still;
here are a few that I've really enjoyed, so if someone else picks them
up and gets something out of them then so much the better.

- Most recent re-read is Perfume by Patrick Suskind.  Dark; ironic;
rich, rich language; told through the sense of smell, so interesting
for that reason if no other. Read it!

- Imajica and Weaveworld by Clive Barker. Surely Potter fans would
enjoy this. Our Clive creates such vivid worlds; complex, mesmerising
stories, full of magic and darkness. Wonderful!

- The Rose Leopard by Richard Yaxley. May be difficult to find
outside of Australia (perhaps only local release). A much simpler
story than my other choices, but a very powerful and well-crafted one,
all the same. Looking to dip a cracker into the rich guacamole that
is contemporary Australian literature? (Who isn't?) You could do a
lot worse than starting here.

Happy reading.

Burbs.
