I agree 100% - the missus wanted to see it, and now bitterly regrets
her decision. I liked the first movie, largely on the strength of
Renee Zellweger, who I've always regarded as an actress of
exceptional charm and cuteness, even in so-so fare like "Down With
Love." But yuck! - she looked downright repulsive in BJ-TEOR - and
it wasn't just the weight, since I thought she looked great in BJ-I.
The opening scene of the film flings our heroine into a pen of pig
manure, and it's all downhill from there.

To end on a positive note, I'll recommend Sideways (great acting &
story) and Finding Neverland, somewhat inconsistent, but occasionally
magic - and Johnny Depp gets to pirate again!
