Hi Everyone,

I met a friend at Warner Bros. studio yesterday for a tour and had to write
and tell you a bit about the HP related things.  It's a 2.5 hour studio tour
that starts with a walk through the WB museum.  Well, the ENTIRE second floor
is  Harry Potter memoriabilia!  You walk up the stairs to it and pass under a
"privet drive" sign that has an owl on  it, then at the top of the stairs you
are greeted by a HUGE Hagrid costume (complete with bundled baby in a sling) ...
the motorcycle is there, a signed first edition of all five books is encased
on display, a full sized 'grim', trelawney's costume and crystal ball,
Lockharts costume and books, Ron, Hermoine and Harry's costumes from POA, Harry and
Quirrels costume from SS (boy has Dan grown!) standing within the frame from
the mirror of erised, the griffindor sword, Snape's "grandmother" costume from
the boggart scene in POA, a full size dementor costume, Molly's clock
(brilliant!), Molly and Arthur costumes, Harry's quidditch costume from POA, a
quidditch "kit" (bludgers, snitch, etc), the fireplace from SS with letters flying out
of it, a stool and sorting hat (I sat on it and got sorted!) and the thing
that REALLY creeped me out, laying in the back full size on a table was the
petrified hermoine from COS holding the mirror in one hand.  The page from the
book with the word "pipes" was displayed encased next to it.

I'm sure I'll think of more, but have to get my son to school right now.  If
you live in the LA area, go check this out.  The tour is $35, but it's long,
indepth and the HP stuff is worth every penny.  Most of the items were not
encased ... you could walk right up to it, but not touch.  And no camera's were
allowed.  :(  I was bummed about that.

More later ..........
