There's a reason it's not in the dictionary, as a series of 7 books 
should be called a heptology, not a septology (actually, it's 
perhaps best called 'a series of 7 books').  -ology is Greek; sept- 
is Latin, and the corresponding Greek is hept- as in heptagon and 
heptameter.  It's as bad as 'television'.
