A deep and mellow moment

Iggy here:

I've started listening to a lot of classic jazz lately (I've always
liked it, but never really took the time to really get *into* it...) and
just had an interesting moment...

I was laying here listening to Louie Armstrong sing "What a Wonderful
World" and I looked over at my daughter who was happily sitting on the
bed next to me (eating potato chips and watching "Rugrats"). She looked
back at me, and I suddenly saw in her eyes how much of me she is... and
that she *is* my future, my legacy, and just how valuable she is to me
on more than just a family and emotional level... but also on that
spiritual level.

I think I've just come a lot closer to truly understanding fatherhood
and what it means on a higher level than I've understood it on before.

Maybe you have to be a parent to understand that... you probably
do...but I hope you all have (or have had) at least one of those moments
in your life... where you fully understand something that's much greater
than you in this world, and transcends everything else.

does grants me this sight, may I always be one."
