Chip off the old block, eh?  But I suppose that's not suprising, 
either - there's an elf who I am pretty sure is played by Bloom in 
the Prologue to the FotR movie, and who I'm also pretty sure is 
supposed to be Legolas's grandfather (Thranduil's father), who died 
in the great age-ending battle.
