Not for Mary GrandPre, though. If you go over to the leaky cauldron and 
do a search for her name, you'll find some interviews and q&a sessions 
with her and she mayve done an explanation on the back cover there.

In  a summary of her visit to salt Lake City that Porphyria did here 
back in the fall, she talked about her book-reading process, and how it 
impacted her cover creation.
