[HPFGU-OTChatter] A New Kind of Authorship?

This sort of interaction is something that authors like Neil Gaiman, Pamela Dean and Holly Black and our own peg Kerr, among others, have been enjoying for a year or more - Gaiman for about three, since his American Gods blog.
They answer questions, talk about things they're writing, preview other projects, etc. It's an amazing level of approachability and would, imho, make a good masters project in a year or two for someone who wants to combine literature with internet communities.
