Surely this type of beans is an American recipe? As in, Heinz Meanz
Beanz, and cowboys round the campfire with a pan, and so on. Don't
you call them baked beans like we do?
It may be a British thing to put them on toast, in line with our
general tradition that the best meal is a carbohydrate with
carbohydrate, served with a carbohydrate side-salad.
