Time-turner discussion

I don't think that JKR would have Harry go back in time like this.  
She's pretty well established that messing with time is tricky 
business and you have to be very careful not to screw things up.  If 
Harry went back and saved his parents, his life growing up would have 
been COMPLETELY different.  He wouldn't have had chance to battle 
with evil so many times while growing up and get good at it.  And as 
a consequence, when he was old enough to go back in time and fight 
Voldemort, he wouldn't know how.  ~jenn
