One thing someone should point out is that today the Selective 
Service is much more selective than when they just needed bodies to 
send over there.  Getting accepted into the military is harder 
nowadays and requires passing various physical and mental tests and 
assessments.   Training includes some fields more sophisticated than 
when we last had a draft, as well. This new standard is a 
complication in figuring out how there could be a draft again.
