bboyminn:
I just bought a tin yesterday at a local British Pub (keep in mind
that I'm in Minnesota). Cost me US$6.00 (£3.34). I know, an
astronomical price, but I was curious. (Actually, I was hoping for
Jaffa Cake, but no luck)
I could take or leave the chocolate coating, but I love the oat
biscuit part. (The Tin expired on 4/12/04, but they were still good.)
Later that day, I found out I could get a gormet copy of Hob Nobs
(that is, not the real brand, but still good quality) for $2.50 at the
local grocery story. Such is life.
On another note; just curious, do they have Nabisco or Keebler Vanilla
Wafers (which are small biscuits, not a wafer) in the UK. Does anybody
there eat them? Does anybody there like them? Enquiring minds want to
know.
