Sorry, I don't know who wrote it. I received this from someone in Holland after I was joking about how many different meanings one word in Dutch could have. For example, bank can mean either the place you keep money, a couch or sofa, a park bench, or the grassy slope off a canal or river but that there are about 100 different ways to say rain (just kidding about the 100, it's more like 99 LOL). When they pointed out that we use "read" as different words, I pointed out that while spelled the same, we pronounce them differently (reed and red) and that's how we know which read we mean. LOL
