See!  Harry Potter is bringing us all together towards a common 
language.  Now if Webster hadn't screwed with the English spellings...

Too bad PS/SS was JKR's first book.  Since she didn't have a measure 
of success, she reluctantly agreed to Scholastic's suggestion to 
change the title for the US edition.  Strange, really.  One tends to 
think of a sorcerer as evil.  If Voldermort had been the inventor, the 
title might be appropriate.  However, Nicholas Flamel, the actual 
inventor is described as I think of a philosopher.
