Hello ,
my name is Kristin , and I am an American. I believe it is really pathetic
how Jerry Springer has managed to captivate such a large audience by exposing a
sordid style of life , that does exist , but is fabricated on the show for
entertainment value. If the American editors changed the title of PS to SS so
more children would be interested in reading it , and if it worked , then I think
it was a good change. In the United States , many people move too fast in
life trying to obtain shallow and superficial goals. The need to be rich and
powerful , and to expose the unfortunate side of life for entertainment. This
weakens the true importance of life and makes many forget the wonderful adventures
you can take by reading. My point is I guess , that whatever changes ( as
long as they aren't negative) that will help reintroduce literature into society
can only be good in the long run. And btw , it was SS here in the states , not
PS.
