think I am saying `Crystal"
 to make sure people get it
correct I have to put a rather long pause between my first and last
name
 and yes, this is my married name (my parent's weren't
complete
idiots)
  
My usual moniker is kpsiren- which is a combination of my initials
and "siren"
 which also works as "psiren"
 the women with beautiful
song/voice who lure sailors to their death.  But the name was cemented
after a great episode of the sitcom `Red Dwarf" entitled
PSIRENS
 aliens who take the form of women to lure in a man and
suck his brain out through his ear.  Ewwww.  So for this site, I've
added "MER" for the MER-People who live in the lake.

I giggled quite a bit when I saw someone calling himself
"Hagrid"-Norbert's Mummy including a bio photo of Hagrid!
 I loved it!
  
If I lived in Potterverse I would imagine myself a maker of quills,
stationery, and magical inks
 and of course have my own shop to
sell my wares.

My boggart would probably resemble Mrs. Weasley's
 

Happy memories for my patronus would likely be my wedding or moments
with my dogs.
  
Undoubtedly a gigantic Labrador Retriever, I'm sure the drool
alone would be enough to drown a dementor.
	  
My animagus would be something in the large cat family
 possibly a
cougar or jaguar.

Gifts from Diagon Alley would be stationery and books, and some really
interesting potions from the apothecary.

My favorite jam is red plum.  Mmmm
. Plum.

My favorite HP book is now a toss up between Prizoner of Azkaban and
Half Blood Prince.  
  
I am really intrigued by Snape and know there will be a lot more me
will learn about his past in book 7; I really love to read the things
Luna Lovegood has to say

to take down the Ministry of Magic with gum disease
 Hah!

Book 7 can't come out soon enough for me!  I think we will finally
learn the real reason Snape was trusted by Dumbledore.  I think Harry
and his friends will help him find and destroy the Horcruxes
 but
that Voldemort made one more after he found his journal horcrux was
destroyed
 so there is one Horcrux that was missed; therefore
Voldemort will be destroyed but the possibility of some evil returning
will still linger.  




My maiden post was my theory about what made Snape turn his back on
Voldemort and join forces with Voldemort.  I really think I'm on
to something

When I'm not staring at the computer I am a full time domestic
goddess taking care of hearth and home while my husband travels quite
a bit for work.  We have two gigantic and cuddly dogs and two small
and demanding cats.  Wishing for a child, but science and physiology
are not cooperating
 so perhaps we will find a nice muggle orphanage
and take a child home


I have been sorted twice
 one the short questionnaire, next the
100+ questions
 and both times landed in Hufflepuff.  But I read that
JKR was also sorted into Hufflepuff (much to her chagrin) so I know
I'm in good company.

I really enjoy reading and rereading the books
 I'm not as
obsessed as my 15 year old niece, but just enough to read the posts
and see if I find any new clues!
