My name is Kristin , and I can be emailed at hockeygrrrl17 at aol.com. I just 
wanted to let you all know , that eventhough I don't know any of you in person , 
you all really make my days better. I really look forward to reading your 
posts , everything that is emailed to me , and I find all your opinions very well 
thought out and intelligent. You all make a nitch that I feel like I fit in. 
We are all adults ... teachers , doctors , policemen , firemen , accountants , 
housewifes , etc , and yet we all find some common ground. I have been 
battling depression for the past two years , and the Harry Potter books really 
helped me conquer my depression , and also , thanks to you all , you keep the 
spirit alive by all these wonderful emails. During the long hours , days , months , 
years  until the next book comes out , you all give me something to smile 
about and look forward to that helps keep me emotionally stable. I am not a 
nutcase or what not , but I just wanted to share with you all and thankyou for the 
moments of joy you bring to my life by corresponding with me and always being 
willing to email back and fourth ideas and opinions.
On a second note , at least for me , I know we all wish we lived in 
Potterverse , had magic wands and robes and a firebolt and what not , but in my opinon 
, the chats , posts and emails are our own version of potterverse in an 
abstract way. The excitement we create by coming together and communicating and 
sharing ideas is a form of magic that brings joy to all our days. I know this 
sounds really corny , but I wanted to thank you all for giving me something to 
look forward to every day. I am also graduating college in december with a degree 
in math , and am willing to offer my knowledge to any and all who struggle 
with it.
