Last year, I remember the two Florida hurricanes that hit my area
managed to time themselves on the weekend. So much for wishing to
have 'hurricane days' off, although, there isn't such a
thing--whereas, up in the northern states, they have 'snow days'.
Heh, do you have one of those jobs where the boss expects you there,
no matter what weather? I had one of those. Fun, fun, fun. :-\

weather that is coming. I may live on top of a hill and do not have
to worry about flooding, but I get the wind and to go anywhere I have
to come down off the hill to where it is flooding.

Yeah, it's not necessarily the wind that does the most costly damage;
it's usually the water.

As much as I may seem to make light of hurricanes, I don't. It's more
a sense of picking up other folks jitters that I find uncomfortable.
We all deal with matters in different ways, and I just find being
ready and calm and not going into panic-mode the best way.
