WE went out and bought batteries, formula, diapers and water. We forgot to get the things we actually went for...Garbage bags and paper towles so I get to go back today.

Ick, no ice storms here but we were expected to drive to work during
  tropical storm winds and rain.

:-) Toilet paper and *milk*? If the electricity gets zapped for a
long while, there goes the milk. Here, storms = must buy water (even
if its downpouring rain outside), bread, and batteries. Not sure
which is worse: Christmas shopping or grocery shopping before a
hurricane... No, wait, it's Christmas shopping because you've got folk
ramming you with shopping carts as cheery music is being played.
