I must be the only person in the world who doesn't think Harry was bad for
attempting the cruciatus curse on leStrange.  Grieve is such an odd thing
and makes you act sop weird.  If I watched someone kill my father in front
of my eyes, I might try to kill them with my bare hands in the first wild
rage of guilt.  I've always thought his actions were understandable, and the
fact that he couldn't do it effectively says that his heart couldn't
seriously desire to do tat even to her.  So, to me, in his heart he was
still right and honorable, and shouldn't be held accountable for his actions
in his first wild rush of grief and anger.

This all started after OOP came out.  I was well, quite depressed, I 
had guessed the death would be Sirius, I saw the clues throughout the 
book.  It was a miserable experience because I really, really, really 
like Sirius.  So sitting there just after midnight I had this thought 
that popped into my mind and was so strong I did something I rarely 
do and wrote it in the book.  When I reread (after hearing from all 
of you how unJKR it was) I likewise put my thoughts down.  And it 
became a tradition, to put my thoughts down after each reread.  They 
show my very slow progression through the stages of grief (I don't 
think I retained much after p. 806 am. ed. until a year later) And I 
thought that once I got to 10 I'd post them all for you to see.
1)	Harry's an idiot and I hate JKR (6-22-1003)
2)	But you've got to admit she's got style (8-11-2003)
3)	Will the pain never end (9-29-2003)
4)	No! why did Harry have to crucio her? (2-11-2004)
5)	Has Umbridge set dementors on me as well? (3-8-2004)
6)	Harry's stupid but I feel sorry for him (5-2-2004)
7)	Ouch (6-30-2004)
8)     	Someday my prince will come (8-11-2004)
9)	Like a cheese grater to the soul and confusing to boot (11-15-
        2004)
10)	The weight of the ring is nothing compared to this (2-5-2005)

So those are my thoughts on OOP. Somday my prince will come and I'll 
write a comment in that as well.
