My husbandf and I met over the Internet.  I was playing on a chat, and the
staff there thought I was 12 instead of 21 because my typing was sooo
terrible!  They thought I was a kid tryig to play an adult, so I got hooked
up with the kid's staff member.  He thought I was a kid, too, till I told
him I am totally blind, and that at the time I had a lot of trouble typing
correctly!  I almost fled then--I hadn't gotten a lot of great reception
once it was found out I am blind, you see.

But he took it really well; so well in fact that we talked on line every
single day for hours!  And we finally got to calling each other
long-distance.  We finally met when he came to visit me in Virginia, where i
lived at the time.  I moved out a couple months after his visit because of
some family problems I won't get into now.  We agreeded that if things
didn't work, well we would work to make sure I was comfortable and happy.
Things worked out great though.  A year to the day of me arriving on his
doorstep, he asked me to marry him.

Two years later, on June 24, 2000 we were married.  This June 24th will be
our fifth wedding anniversary.
